Introduction MATRIS 

The purpose of the application is to collect technical information about VOLVO Construction Equipment’s products in use and present the information to the operator, and forward it to certain sites, as the main office of VOLVO Construction Equipment. 

The information is accumulated and stored in the ECUs (processor) of a machine during the life cycle of the machine. The process of collecting information is called reading. 

The processing of the information into compiled presentation material in the PC gives a comprehensive understanding about the usage and the quality of the machines. 

A reading can be handled in the functions of the MATRIS application.

Data retrieved from the machines with MATRIS 2 is never used against the operator or the owner of the machine. A good relation to the operator and owner is very important. Please fill out the equipment window as accurate as possible at each reading before
export.

It is important to read and follow these instructions carefully.

MATRIS 2 require Windows 7, Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (administrator privileges). Make sure that your computer has the latest Windows service pack and critical updates.

Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is required as well. Important information for users of the USB cable 88890020: For those who run both TechTool and MATRIS 2, required firmware is latest version delivered by TechTool. For those who use MATRIS 2 standalone, latest firmware can be found with Admin 0020 application. 

This application is delivered with the installation CD and it is possible to open via header in reading view. If you have trouble using the application please contact VCE Software Support. MATRIS 2 is delivered with a Client Update feature. It is strongly recommended to use Client Update to download and install MATRIS update packages regularly (instructions
below in this document).

When trying to program a hino key you will be asked for a password.

the password is different to your log in password. It is the password that is created with the pin generated and the month your pc is set at.

for example month is january password is XXXXXXXX01. i will attach a link to the password generator. I got it off this forum! so thankyou.
